The approximately 4 million uplanders will be able to purchase replicas of the cars driven by Rubens Barrichello, Cac Bueno, Daniel Serra, Felipe Massa, Ricardo Zonta, Nelsinho Piquet, Tony Kanaan and Thiago Camilo in NFT format (non-fungible token) and participate in motorsport races and championships are also in the metaverse. Owners of these tokens will also receive real-world benefits such as free race tickets and other products from the partnership between Stock Car and Upland.
The partnership with Stock Car makes us very excited to see more and more brands expressing interest in carrying out actions that cross the border between physical and virtual, offering a new way of interacting with their fans. Sport is a passion capable of breaking that boundary more easily, said Dirk Lueth, CEO and co-founder of startup Upland.
