In August 2003, after 80 years at Maine Road, Manchester City made a move to their new home at Etihad Stadium, which marked the beginning of a new era for the club.
“The Etihad Stadium plays an important part in Manchester City’s history. Players and fans share memories and special moments there, so it’s fantastic that Puma were inspired by this for this year’s Home Kit. I’m so proud to have worn the Manchester shirt.” City and played in that debut season at the Etihad, I hope this year’s shirt brings back as many memories for our fans as it did for me,” said Shaun Wright-Phillips, ambassador and former player for the club.
