With the agreement, the festival joins brands such as Disney and Netflix and now has a playlist on the audio streaming platform.
The Town and Spotify have joined an unprecedented partnership in Brazil. 100 days before the festival in So Paulo, the brands are launching the new The Town Hub on Spotify, the audio streaming service that will be the event’s official player.
With the agreement, The Town consolidates itself as the first Brazilian brand to have a playlist hub on Spotify in Brazil, joining Disney and Netflix, global streaming partners.
“This partnership is extremely important for Spotify, as it allows us to immerse ourselves in fans’ passion for music and the vibrant culture of festivals. As the event approaches, people prepare with enthusiasm, reliving unique memories and emotions through from our platform. This partnership further reinforces our commitment to providing music fans with a complete experience, connecting them to the artists and the most memorable moments of the festivals. We look forward to embarking on this unforgettable musical journey together”, said Manuela Ramalho, Head of Marketing at Spotify Brazil.
In total, the partnership has 11 playlists inspired by the stages of the festival that will receive names such as Bruno Mars, Post Malone, Maroon 5, Foo Fighters, Ludmilla, Iggy Azalea, Pitty, The Chainsmokers, Criolo, Tasha and Tracie at Angelique Kidjo and the jazz of Richard Bona.
The Hub can be accessed via the Spotify website or by searching for “The Town” in the app’s search area.
