The company put up billboards around the celebrities’ hometowns
In 2022, it’s been 16 years since Twitter was launched. In the beginning, the social network was a place where people talked to themselves, only with several people at the same time and this made the social network build a veritable arsenal of tweets and memes.
With that in mind, the social network decided to revive some old tweets from people who became big stars, such as rapper Meghan The Stallion, actor Simu Liu, singer Demi Lovato, football player Patrick Mahomes, among others, before them. become famous, in a campaign to show that dreams can come true.
Twitter put these old tweets on billboards spread across eight locations in the hometown of various celebrities.
In addition to the OOH campaign, the company will donate nearly $1 million to charities chosen by the stars, including the Boys and Girls Club, Destination Crenshaw, The 3-D Foundation and UNICEF Canada.
