Rdio Transamerica announced that it has acquired the rights to broadcast the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will take place between July 20 and August 20 in Australia and New Zealand.
Under the command of sports journalist der Luiz, the radio will feature daily bulletins about the competition in the Papo de Craque programs, presented in two editions.
The investment of big brands and sporting entities grows every day, showing that the modality is very strengthened. By being the first radio station to broadcast a Women’s World Cup, Rede Transamérica contributes to the evolution of the sport and expands its operations, said Fbio Faria, Executive Director of Rede Transamérica de Comunicação.
The special programming of the Women’s World Cup will be transmitted by Transamerica Network stations: So Paulo (100.1 FM), Rio de Janeiro (101.3 FM), Brasilia (100.1 FM), Salvador (100.1 FM), Belo Horizonte (88.7 FM), Curitiba (100.3 FM), Recife (92.7 FM). Brazil debuts in the World Cup on July 24, at 8 am, in the game against Panam.
