Bagaggio, leader in the luggage and travel accessories retail market, will present a new technological solution in its stand at Vtex Day: the infinite shelf, a self-service kiosk with a screen touch screen, responsible for integrating physical store inventories with that of the virtual store. The tool is intended to show the complete catalog to consumers.
Those who visit the stand of the brand during the event, which takes place on June 5th and 6th, at São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo (SP), they will be able to make purchases through the application with payment on the spot and choose to receive the product at home or pick it up at some of the brand’s more than 180 stores throughout Brazil.
“The main benefit of this new technology is that we will be able to serve the customer even without having a complete physical stock of the entire Bagaggio line in the store. It’s like we have an infinite supply. We are able to provide any product that the customer wants to buy and pick up at another store or receive at home. With this, the seller will be able to meet the customer’s need, without losing the sale, if the product is not in the store”, says Filipe Barbosa, CEO of Bagaggio.
With a tradition of more than 80 years, the brand started last year a process of rebranding, in search of innovation. The virtual shelf arrives as one more tool in this new phase of Bagaggio, and the idea is that, soon, all the company’s stores will have the new technology.
The new product will initially be available on stand by Bagaggio at Vtex Day. The event is the largest meeting of digital transformation in retail in Latin America, and in this edition, it has the participation of special guests, such as Gisele Bündchen and Jessica Watson.
