Before arriving in Brazilian theaters next Thursday (8), the most famous Autobot on the big screen leaves for an adventure on TikTok. Now, it is possible to use the voice in Portuguese of the Optimus Prime robot, through the ‘spoken text’ function, in the narration of videos on the platform. The original voice in English was already available in other countries, but now arrives in Brazil, with the classic dubbing of Guilherme Briggs.
The tool that narrates the text added to the video is very simple to use. After recording the video, the user must press the red button in the lower right corner of the screen to advance, and then click on the ‘Aa (Text)’ icon in the side menu. Now, just write the text wherever you want (you can move it later), click on the ‘Spoken Text’ text tool icon and choose Optimus Prime’s voice.
The action is a partnership between Paramount Pictures and TikTok, and is part of the promotion of ‘Transformers: The Awakening of the Beasts’, the seventh feature of the franchise. The two companies team up again after the success of that same feature for the ‘Scream’ campaign, in which Ghostface’s voice could be used in the short video app’s narrations.

In ‘Transformers: Awakening of the Beasts’, the audience will follow an adventure with the Autobots in the 90’s and meet a new generation of Transformers, the Maximals, who will be allies in the battle against the Decepticons to save the Earth. The Paramount Pictures feature, directed by Steven Caple Jr. and produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, is based on the ‘Beast Wars’ season of the animation and will introduce the villain Unicron, a Decepticon capable of destroying entire planets.
