WMcCann Announces New Interim CCO. Rastro, Binder, Clear Channel and other companies reinforce the team
The week was marked by the announcement of the new commercial director of SBTLuciana Valerio, and the departure of Mariana Sá from WMcCann.
Luciana will replace Fred Muller, who recently announced his departure, and will take over from commercial managers Giancarlo Paladino, Marcos Kotait and Dante Stoliar. Mariana, who held the position of CCO of the agency since 2021, is going to a new professional challenge and, with that, Ricardinho Weitsman will occupy the position of CCO on an interim basis.
A Trail announced the return of Mariana Campello to the team, who arrives to occupy the position of leader of strategy and data. The executive will work within the core targeting Bombay Sapphire, Rider, Oi Futuro and Enauta customers. Mari, returns in a new position reporting directly to Rafael Bizachi, Director of Strategy and Operations.
Binderwhich overhauled the creation and content management of its operations in Rio Janeiro and Brasília, announced the hiring of five professionals and the promotion of another three collaborators to support the agency’s growth process.
Leandro Euzébio leaves creative supervision and takes over as creative director in Rio de Janeiro. Rodrigo Soares is the agency’s new creative director in Brasilia. Gustavo Portela also arrives at Binder as content director.
For the art direction team, Genival Junior arrives, having worked at Dois.a Publicidade, Arcos Propaganda and RGA, Propeg. The other professionals hired were Danielle Sivieri, as a customer service executive, and Nathália Freitas, as the new RTVC assistant.
Completing the team of collaborators promoted in Rio de Janeiro are Nicoli Nascimento, previously media supervisor, who takes over as media manager, and Raquel Soares, who leaves media coordination to become online media supervisor.
Me and Jüssi introduced its new director of planning and content. Fernanda Grams, a professional with almost 20 years of career, will assume the position of director of planning and content. The executive will have a strategic role in the agency’s new moment, which, a few weeks ago, announced its new positioning: The Experience Agency.
At the agency, the executive will report directly to Marcos Del Valle, partner-director of the agency. “We are daily looking for solutions that generate good experiences to provide great results to our customers. Therefore, the arrival of Fernanda adds expertise, mainly due to the work profile she has and which is aligned with our current moment”, says Del Valle.
Meanwhile, the Innova AATB announced the arrival of two new art directors to its team: Edu Magalhães and Thiago Higashi. With extensive experience in the communications market, both bring vast knowledge and expertise in their areas of expertise.
A Clear Channel bet on reinforcements in the São Paulo commercial team and announced the arrival of Flávia Pinho, Bruno Morales and Douglas Cordeiro. Flávia assumes the position of Account executive and will take care of one of the company’s new hybrid portfolios, composed of advertisers and digital native and hybrid agencies from all over the State of São Paulo.
Bruno Morales and Douglas Cordeiro form the digital and programmatic media team, which is the business unit that has grown the most in terms of revenue and importance at Clear Channel in recent years.
A General strengthened its team in Latin America with the arrival of Carol Lara, who will lead the company’s team of creatives and account directors. With plans to expand in the Brazilian market and in neighboring countries, the company also brought Juliana Araújo to the post of LatAm Business Director.
A RTB House also presented news during the week, announcing the appointment of the executive Caio Jacobino as the new Country Manager for Brazil. In this position, the executive will report to André Dylewski, Business Director of RTB House for Latin America.
Wind e Vivo Ventures announced Wana Schulze and Ivan Yoon as new heads of investment and portfolio. Executives arrive with the mission of leading the team, focusing on origination, construction of investment theses and process development.
To finish, the Volkswagen announced Dr. Markus Kleimann as new vice president of product development, baureihe & strategy for the SAM region (South America – South America).
