YouGov announces the top 10 brands that stood out among Brazilians
In May, the video game Garena Free Fire was the brand that carried out the most effective advertising strategy among the 440 companies monitored by the BrandIndex platform in Brazil, by YouGov.
YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. Based on the question: “Which of the following brands have you seen an ad for in the last two weeks?”, the survey was conducted with data from surveys of adults aged 18 and over residing in Brazil from April 26 to May 25, 2023.
The Battle Royale title managed to improve its “advertising awareness” index by 8.7 points between the worst and best performing days during the period. In percentage terms, Garena also showed the biggest increase among the 10 most successful brands in Brazil.
The other brands in the Top 10 “Advertiser of the Month” for May 2023 in Brazil are much more diverse within the sectors they belong to. Gol and Latam airlines ranked second and fifth, with increases of 7.5 and 6.4 points in their respective advertising awareness scores.
The automobile company Chevrolet, the TV station SBT and the personal hygiene product brand Dove also had enough performances to enter the top 10. Check out the full ranking:
