In yet another significant step towards expanding the activities of the Publicis Group, the holding announces the arrival of Gabriela Onofre as CEO of Publicis Groupe in Brazil.
For the first time, a holding of global communication puts an executive from the advertiser’s universe to assume the main position in the Brazilian market.
“Gabi brings a customer perspective, and will help us strengthen our focus as business partners, prioritizing the growth of the brands and customers we work with. On the other hand, she also brings a unique vision of the world of startups. This experience is relevant, as technology is increasingly redefining the advertising industry”, says Monica Gadsby, CEO of Publicis Groupe in Latin America.
Since 2019, Gabi has been working in the universe of startups. She was a partner and Vice President of Communication and Marketing at Unico, idtech of digital identity solutions. Previously, he built a career spanning more than 25 years at major advertisers, holding the positions of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at P&G in Brazil and global marketing leader for Semper Livre, a Johnson & Johnson brand.
In 2020, she was one of the Honorees by Women To Watch. She is also a member of Women Corporate Directors, a global body of female corporate directors.
For the executive, Publicis Groupe Brasil is very strong in data, technology, media, commerceproduction, PR and social, in addition to having award-winning creative agencies worldwide, which allows for deep and personalized work.

Also this month, Publicis Groupe announced the creation of a Hub of Communication to bring together all the teams from the agencies that make up the group in Brazil (Arc, DPZ, Le Pub, Leo Burnett Tailor Made, One, Performics, PMX, Prodigious, Publicis Brasil, Publicis Health, Publicis Play, Sapient and Talent Marcel) on a single core.
O Hub of Communication will be led by Andrea Assef, head of Communication at Publicis Groupe, and will have a leadership team formed by the main directors from the group’s agencies: Daniela Barile, Jef Martins, Leonardo Araujo and Rejane Romano.
