The brand will have a space set up in a sustainable structure and made with 1,800 recycled steel buckets
Oakberry is the official sponsor of the World Surf League Brazil, for the second consecutive year. The event has the participation of Brazilians Gabriel Medina, talo Ferreira, Filipe Toledo, João Chianca, Yago Dora, Caio Ibelli, in addition to Tati Weston-Webb, the only Brazilian representative in the female category.
The eighth stage of the competition will take place at Praia de Saquarema, between June 23rd and July 1st, depending on weather and sea conditions. During the days of the event, the brand will have a space where the public and athletes will be able to taste aa in a sustainable structure assembled with 1,800 buckets of recycled aa.
“Sustainability and sport are in Oakberry’s DNA and being able to bring them together at an event like the WSL is extremely meaningful to us. We are very excited to be able to be a part of it,” said Giancarlo Giovannini, Director of Marketing for Oakberry.
The brand will also feature an activation inside the VIP area, exclusive for guests, and another in the area reserved for athletes, in addition to being present at the Flutuar and Layback houses, meeting points for the public, sponsors, businessmen and athletes of the circuit during championship days.
Present in all the elite events of the Championship Tour and Challenger Series in the Australian leg, Oakberry will also be in Tahiti, the last event before the WSL finals and which will qualify surfers for the 2024 Olympics.
