Hello, communicators! This Wednesday (21) is Media Day, and the Misses At Work community would never let the date go by without involving the female audience in a rich debate about the challenges faced in this market. The meeting will be held this Thursday (22) from 8 pm on YouTube, broadcast live on the São Paulo collective channel.
“Almost 40% of the Misses At Work community is made up of women who are Media and Marketing professionals, involved with communication planning in brands or agencies. And like everything that happens in the group, we mapped the need to discuss and find solutions for this career”, explains Daniela Mozer, founder of Content Lovers, co-founder and creator of the initiative, responsible for partnerships and general administration of the community.
With the participation of female Media professionals from the collective, the broadcast proposes an open discussion about careers, everyday pains and loves, and the female relationship with the job market and communication: from routine to relationships with vehicles and technical updates , always with the famous bias of breaking taboos. Among the participants will be Alessandra Orrico, former Media Director, who switched careers to become Sales Manager at Vidoomy, and Erika Luciani, Media Manager at BETC Havas, who divides her work between being a mother and a writer.
Another guest will be Angélica Fortes, who has worked for over 16 years in advertising agencies as a media professional, has experience in strategy omnichannel e custom content projects, and in recent years, focused on results of digital campaigns and performance.
“In the dynamic universe of media, women are assuming a central role, driving a significant change in narrative and representation”, comments the guest.
The virtual meeting is offered by Neoleads – Marketing Mobile, one of the brands always present in community projects, and supported by Adnews, Allcance Digital, Semina Indústria e Comércio, Amigos do Mercado and Idivorciei.
“Sponsoring a female collective of communication market professionals is investing in diversity, creativity and the inclusive future of the industry, reaping the rewards of an enriching collaboration and innovative ideas”, argues Andréa Orsolon, Country Manager LATAM at Neoleads.

about the movement
Born in 2018, from a group of communication and advertising professionals on WhatsApp, the Misses At Work initiative gained strength during the pandemic, as a hub exchange of information between women who seek to develop their careers, make networking and openly discuss current challenges, such as women’s health, motherhood, double shifts, ageism and sexism.
Currently, the community offers services such as spin-offs circular economy, entertainment, a drive exclusive collaborative with mailing, market studies, organizational charts, CV bank and exchange of service and product recommendations, in addition to having a group of free and curated vacancies in the area of communication also available on its website, and partnerships signed with Amigos do Mercado and Adnews . Misses@Lives is also one of the initiatives.
“Between lives, we are restructuring ourselves to publish the new website, full of content, and we recently launched a web series to insert the concepts of web 3.0 in the daily lives of our professionals, with the participation of our MissAI, Kali Miss, an Artificial Intelligence that I am developing especially for the theme, and that we hope to use in other applications soon”, says Kika Pontes, co-founder, creator and responsible for the technological operation of the collective, as well as an entrepreneurial partner at Demo Factory.
