The action, carried out to celebrate LGBTQIAP+ Pride month, was the beginning of the partnership between the social project and the brand.
Westwing, through a partnership with the architecture and interiors office Arqtab, revitalized the living space at Casa Florecer 2, which consists of a Special Welcome Center for Transgender Women located in Santana (SP). The action was the beginning of the partnership between the social project and the brand.
The revitalization of the 90 m living space began with the idea of transforming one of the rooms into a reading room and took shape with the encouragement of Westwing, which expanded the renovation and decoration to the entire first floor, including three assistance rooms , meeting room, mini library and living room.
“Receiving the invitation from ARQTAB to collaborate, at first, only with the reading room was very special, but we made a point of making the story bigger and we are sure that we will work even more with Casa Florescer”, stated Adler Berbert, Head of Marketing of Content and Brand and founder of Westwing’s diversity and inclusion committee.
The design of the space, developed by ARQTAB, brought an aesthetic and functional look to the main activities carried out on the living room floor of the house. The environment gained color, which is one of the main elements of the project.
“The colors were a key part of the composition, we presented pastel versions of blue and pink in reference to the trans flag, with a little depth of warm tones in saffron and terracotta – both on the wall and on the furniture. What we love about the final result was that we arrived at a place of comfort with a fashion tone that girls love and incorporate into their daily lives,” added Thamires Mendes, architect and partner at Arqtab.
