Deborah Xavier joins the operation with the challenge of expanding collaboration models with a creative ecosystem
Media.Monks Brasil has just announced the hiring of Deborah Xavier as Head of Social and Creators in Brazil. The executive brings to the platform all the experience acquired, leading the Twitter Arthouse for Latin America.
At Media.Monks, Deborah will lead the social teams and content creators in search of innovative solutions that engage audiences and boost the growth of brands that are currently clients of the house, such as Riot Games, Havaianas, Ambev and others.
“Deborah Xavier is a true powerhouse in the world of social media and content creation. With her leadership, I’m sure we will elevate our creative output and our capabilities to serve clients from end to end,” says Marina Pires, Managing Director of Media.Monks in São Paulo.
With increasingly diverse and engaged online audiences, Brazil has become an environment for creative experimentation, leading brands to adopt new strategies and leverage emerging platforms. Deborah claims that there is still a lot of room to do better and differently.
“In the fierce competition for attention and relevance, we need to delve into the complexities of culture and collaborate with highly specific creators to co-create solutions. The cultural diversity in Brazil is infinite. To be creative – and effective – it is fundamental that we learn to make use of it,” says the executive, back in Brazil after a successful visit to New York.
Luciana Haguiara, executive creative director at Media.Monks, sees Deborah’s arrival as another step towards strengthening female leadership in the Brazilian creative industry. “In addition to the history of successful projects with global brands such as Coca-Cola, Spotify and Ita, Deborah joins our group to strengthen our commitment to form and develop teams with diverse talents capable of challenging the current way of innovating in the language of communication in social media”, he concludes.
