A pioneer in the gluten-free beer market, Stella Artois remains attentive to consumer opinions and behavioral trends, such as the appreciation of a more balanced life. And with that, it innovates once again in its portfolio: ‘Stella Artois Pure Gold’ has just arrived on the market, a beer that contains 17% less calories than the regular version, gluten-free and with 100% delivery of the flavor of Stella that the public knows and appreciates.
The launch is an evolution of ‘Stella Artois Gluten Free’, which was launched in 2019 and became a success among beer lovers. By listening to consumers and understanding what they are looking for in a product, the Ambev brand maintained the high quality and safety of the gluten-free version, in addition to bringing the differential of a liquid with fewer calories.
The consumer will be able to easily recognize the sophisticated and tasty bitterness of “Stellinha” in the Pure Gold version. The news is available at long necks (330ml) and contains 34kcal per 100ml.
“Stella Sem Gluten has been a success since its launch, and from the active listening of consumers and specialists, we have evolved to Stella Artois Pure Gold, which in addition to being gluten-free, has all the flavor of traditional Stella Artois, with 17% fewer calories than the traditional version. A perfect combination that sets it apart from other options available on the market”, comments Mariana Porto, Head of Marketing at Stella Artois.
The new version of Stella Artois goes through the same manufacturing process as the brand’s traditional beer, and is made with the same ingredients (water, malt and hops), except for the technology applied to the production to “break” the gluten, and thus, create a novelty that maintains characteristics, but meets the growing demand of consumers looking for more balanced products, maintaining pleasant consumption.
For Ambev’s Director of Innovation, Gustavo Castro, consumers are increasingly interested in products aligned with a balanced lifestyle.
“People are increasingly looking for products with fewer calories, but they don’t want to give up on flavor. After extensive research, we managed to create a version that meets the expectations of those who value a balanced lifestyle and still seek to feel the pleasure of having a beer with great quality and flavor ”, he explains.
On a pack of sophisticated and innovative design, developed by JKR Agency (creative agency of Design and Branding present in Europe and the United States), ‘Stella Artois Pure Gold’ is different from everything else on the market and completes Ambev’s beer portfolio, delivering innovations for those looking for balanced options that can be consumed without prejudice. , in moments of toast and relaxation. The company offers versions with and without alcohol, which deliver flavor and benefits in consumption, such as ‘Bud Zero’ (without alcohol), ‘Corona Cero Sunbrew’ (without alcohol and rich in vitamin D) and ‘Michelob Ultra’ (with low carbohydrate and calories).
An exclusive version for the Brazilian market, Pure Gold is now available at Empório da Cerveja, at the main chains in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, at Pão de Açúcar stores in São Paulo, and will be distributed nationwide throughout 2023.
