The portal will bring content produced by the newsrooms of Campinas, Ribeiro Preto, São José dos Campos and Baixada Santista
Grupo Thathi de Comunicação announced the launch of THmais, aiming at a more personal and closer approach with hyperlocalized publics in the state of So Paulo.
Based on the company’s multiplatform presence, the new portal will bring content produced by the newsrooms in Campinas, Ribeiro Preto, São José dos Campos and Baixada Santista, in addition to having Novabrasil’s strategic support for national journalism.
“The hyperlocal will be reinforced by the national journalism of Novabrasil, a reference of credibility and quality. We will take to THmais the most important information of what happens in the Country, complementing the regional news that are the great differential of the new portal for its audience”, stated Danilo Fuin , executive director of Novabrasil. The platform will also offer TH more entertainment content, especially focused on its Brazilian vertical.
The project emphasizes localism, taking advantage of the group’s multiplatform participation in several cities to offer specific information on each region, according to the interests of that audience.
“More and more citizens want to know about their city, their neighborhood, their street, about what directly interferes with their lives and their daily lives. THmais now offers this in four important regions of the state of So Paulo, should expand this concept to other parts of Brazil soon”, explained Fernando Roxo, CEO of Grupo Thathi.
With a central homepage, THmais will bring together relevant content from all regions where it will be present, but with simple, intuitive navigation and access to specific sites of the regions and cities covered. The marketing of media and projects will also be based on local markets, however, with national support from Novabrasil, which will now make THmais opportunities available in its inventory.
