Season three has four chapters that are already available on YouTube
Recognized as the soul of the business, offshore workers are the protagonists of real-life stories in the third season of PRIO’s Offshore Stories series. In the new season, individual experiences that helped build part of the company’s great history will be presented.
In the four chapters, now available on YouTube and on all of the company’s social networks, employees who dedicate their lives to offshore work show in practice that they carry PRIO’s values to work in this very relevant sector of the national economy and share their challenges and feelings.
For this season, William Pires, control room operator, Augusto Ramos, work safety supervisor, Alice Romano, operational technician and Marcos Nascimento, maintenance supervisor, reveal their trajectories for the cameras from the first shipments to the adventures they experienced. in their careers.
The recording team spent 72 hours aboard the Polvo-A platform in the emblematic Campos de Polvo, in the Campos Basin, 100 km off the east coast of the city of Cabo Frio (RJ). The company’s first asset witnessed the company’s successful evolution, which went from producing 6,000 barrels to 100,000 barrels per day, consolidating itself as the largest independent oil company in Brazil.
The main message we want to pass on is that PRIO’s success is made up of people and each individual narrative contributed to build a great story. We chose people whose stories reached us at the office, either because they participated in large projects such as Reao Offshore, because they had a leadership role within the team or because they shared their experiences, as in the case of William Pires, whose narrative earned him a trip to Qatar in 2022, explains Rick Abreu, Communications Coordinator at PRIO.
Abreu completes by saying that, by humanizing the company’s routine, PRIO also seeks to approach shareholders and the public in general. Thus, we give more transparency to our activities and show a little more about the day to day of those who work offshore.
Offshore Stories was entirely produced by PRIO’s external communication team and can also be seen on PRIO’s social networks on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
