Brand bets on a new format to democratize knowledge about prevention and health of dogs and cats
Petlove is a specialist with regard to all the needs of pets, which are an essential part of the multispecies family, and their guardians. In line with its purpose of transforming the world into a place where pets can be happier and healthier, the brand is betting on a new format to democratize knowledge about the health and well-being of dogs and cats.
With that in mind, the company presents the free web series “Our Pets”, a proprietary project that, through exciting and educational videos, will talk about the routine of pets with specific health issues, such as the case of the elderly and obese. The debut season will be focused on prevention and important care for maintaining the quality of life of pets over eight years old, with valuable tips for guardians of dogs and cats from this age group onwards. The webseries will feature unreleased videos weekly, which will be released on Wednesdays, always at 7 pm, on Petlove’s YouTube channel. The first film, a special episode about felines, is already available at Nosso Pets: Idosos.
The episodes carry a documental language, with narratives that follow the testimony of both characters and veterinarians interviewed especially for the project. Entitled “Our Pets: Elderly”, the first wave of films consists of four 10-minute pieces of content that talk about food, well-being, health, physical activity and environmental enrichment. The contents mix technical veterinary information about pet care with the experiences and stories of real tutors, creating genuine connections with the public that faces the same situations.
“At Petlove, we believe that content and entertainment are among the most powerful ways to transform behavior. Within our purpose, we identified that there is still misinformation regarding the care and prevention of elderly animals. love, Filipe Botton.
In addition to this season, dedicated to older animals, the brand is already planning the next steps: one of the themes already defined and in the process of pre-production is Obesity, scheduled to debut by the end of 2023.
