Award, which completes 45 years, registration is open until August 11
Celebrating 45 years, the Professionals of the Year Award is now renamed PPA. In addition to the new name, Globo also presented the award’s new visual identity: stronger colors seek to mark the legitimately Brazilian profile.
Another novelty was the new category: actions in content.
In its 45 years of history, the PPA has evaluated more than 44,000 pieces and distributed more than 3,000 trophies, awarding works from the north to the south of the country.
“For 45 years, we have defended that nothing replaces talent. Amidst the discussions about the impacts of artificial intelligence on the industry, this concept is more current than ever. Technology can evolve, new tools emerge, but the creativity of advertising professionals continues to be irreplaceable, even to properly apply all these new resources”, said Manzar Feres, director of integrated advertising businesses at Globo.
The registration deadline for PPA 2023 is open until August 11th. Speaking of registration, Globo launched a campaign, which marks the opening of entries for the award, starring actress Dandara Mariana, actor Marcelo Adnet and presenter João Vicente.
The finalists will be known on October 2nd and the big Brazilian publicity party is scheduled for November 30th.
