Brand celebrates the start of the World Cup with murals by four graffiti artists
The Brazilian women’s soccer team finally entered the field and debuted in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand this Monday (24). To mark this moment and rescue the history of women’s football in Brazil, Rappi, official sponsor of the Brazilian National Team, invited women graffiti artists to develop a special action.
The initiative includes the customization of the facades of four Rappi stores, located in the cities of So Paulo (SP) and Rio de Janeiro (RJ). For this, SuperApp invited Brazilian artists Amora, Amorinha (@amori.nha); Bruna Santos, the Bru Yeah (@bruyeah); Lya Nazura, aka Nazura (@lyanzr); and Regina Elias, Ziza (@soveranaziza), who will transform the exterior of these points.
Each of them will explore their creativity through the art of graffiti, in four exclusive murals that refer to the theme “A History of Glory. In each of them, in the format of Comics (Comics), iconic moments experienced by the athletes of the Selection will be rescued. recent achievement, in the 2022 Copa America.
We rescued and re-signified the traditional habit of Brazilian fans of painting the streets and facades of their houses during the Men’s World Cup. Thinking about impacting the fans nationwide, the comics graffitied on the walls of the stores will be hosted in digital format on an internet page accessible to the public through QR Codes on each of the panels. The stories of the four Brazilian artists and the results of the murals will also be part of a mini-documentary, which will be released over the next few weeks on Rappi’s digital media.
In addition, Rappi’s actions for the women’s soccer World Cup include the distribution of personal care kits to delivery women, in the city of So Paulo, and stickers allusive to the Selection in Hubs and Dark Stores in So Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, for all delivery men.
