Economic instability and social inequality worry Brazilians most
PwC today presented the 25th annual survey that shows CEOs’ perspectives on growth, threats, strategic priorities and commitments.
The study was conducted among industry leaders in technology, media and telecommunications. In all, around 4,400 CEOs were heard, in 89 territories, between October and November 2021, with an expressive participation, according to PwC, of Brazilian leaders.
77% of global and Brazilian leaders believe economic growth is expected to accelerate in the next 12 months. Macroeconomic instability and social inequality are the items of greatest concern in Brazil than in the rest of the world, which mainly fears cyber risks and those related to the health of the population. However, Brazilian CEOs are more optimistic than the global average about their companies’ revenue growth.
According to the study, optimism grew the most in Japan, the UK and India, and declined in Brazil, China, Germany and the US.
