One of the new features is Felipe Ribeiro, CCO at W+K So Paulo, who takes over as coCCO in the American office
Wieden+Kennedy announced this Thursday (14) new leaders in its offices in North America, including Felipe Ribeiro, current CCO of W+K São Paulo, as coCCO of the Portland office, alongside Azsa West.
Another move was the arrival of Jason White, CMO of Fanatics, who will take on the role of president of the Portland office in October.
Felipe serves clients such as Nike, P&G, Visa and HP, in addition to continuing his work with AB InBEv. Currently, alongside President Andr Gustavo, the Brazilian leads the Wieden+Kennedy office in So Paulo and Latin America, which includes the office in Mexico City and the network’s hub in Buenos Aires.
He will maintain these functions until the end of 2023, leading the creation of brands such as Ford, Nubank, Uber and Prime Video, among others.
“Having the opportunity to lead one of the most iconic offices in the history of global advertising is, to begin with, fantastic. Being able to do this within the network that I chose as my home, where a creative finds conditions to develop their career without losing their shine in the eyes even more special”, said Felipe Ribeiro.
Wieden+Kennedy also announces other moves, such as the promotion of Blair Warren, recently integrated into the leadership team in Portland, as executive creative director of Nike’s global team, alongside Caleb Jensen.
In New York, creative leadership duo Marques Gartrell and Brandon Henderson will be promoted to coCCO roles, leading the office alongside President Jiah Choi.
