Clear Channel announced the expansion of its operations in Brazil and arrives on the streets of Caxias do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul, after winning the tender to supply and operate 40 digital watches. The contract with the City Hall was made official at the end of July and the concession period is 20 years.
The first equipment is scheduled to be installed in October. Of the 40 clocks, 18 will be equipped with video surveillance cameras that will integrate the municipality’s public security system. In addition, five points will have free Wi-Fi service, allowing residents of Caxias do Sul to enjoy the internet in public spaces.
