Agencies that intend to have their cases competing in the biggest Live Marketing award in Brazil, the AMPRO Globes Awards, you have until this Monday (18) to register. In this 23rd edition, the award has 17 categories, and is represented in the country by the Promotional Marketing Association (AMPRO), which is completing 30 years of operation.
In addition to the extension of the registration period, this year, the award has one more novelty: the 2023 jury exceeded the established targets for representation of gender, race, generation and orientation, representing a notable record for the edition.
The panel of jurors responsible for judging the cases made up of more than 160 professionals working in communications and marketing, with different specialties in the market. Furthermore, the bench will be led by Dilma Campos, founder and CEO of Nossa Praia, head of ESG at B&Partners and advisor at AMPRO, and by Felipe Simi, founder, CEO and CCO of Soko, and also president of the Observatory of Diversity in Advertising .
Women make up 50% of the jury, an increase of 4% compared to last year; 22% of professionals are black, an increase of 7% compared to the previous year; and 15% belong to the LGBTQIAPN+ community. The jury also features professionals from different generations, from Baby Boomers GenZ, with growth of 5% compared to the previous edition.
In addition to the relevance that the AMPRO Globes Awards have been gaining in awards focused on the communications market, which is demonstrated by the number of cases registered in the last editions, we continue to outline different objectives that enhance the project as a plural and representative space. This commitment begins with the organizing committee, jury and, consequently, the cases received, reinforcing our conviction that, in addition to expanding the visibility of Live Marketing, it is necessary to give voice and recognition to those who contribute to the growth of this sector, reinforces Helosa Santana, executive president of AMPRO.
Among the news of the award, in addition to the plurality in the jury, the AMPRO Globes Awards announced Dare as the concept theme of the edition, which appears as a provocation to pierce the bubble of daring, innovate in creative processes, execution and legacy in the market of promotions and experiences. The award will also recognize the campaign that best promotes social impact with the Grand Prix ESG AMPRO Globes Awards, an unprecedented honor in the event’s history.
