The Memorial da América Latina, in Barra Funda, in So Paulo (SP), hosts this weekend, September 23rd and 24th, the 11th edition of the Creation Club Festival. With an unmissable program, the long-awaited event will feature lectures and debate tables, shows, exhibition of award-winning works in the 48 Yearbook and evaluation of portfolios, apart from the network and the various activations of sponsoring brands.
Curated by journalist Las Prado, the Festival do Clube de Criação will feature professionals from the Brazilian and international advertising market, as well as renowned names linked to the most different areas of the creative economy. Topics such as diversity, inclusion, sustainability, music, photography, cinema, television, fashion, games, podcast and technology, among others, are on this year’s schedule. The complete program is available on official festival website and involves around 200 guests and 60 panels, distributed in four content rooms (Simon Bolvar, Criatividade, Congressistas and Clube Lab), which will run simultaneously.
From the international market, confirmed for this edition are Chacho Puebla, CoFounder & Creative from Felicidad (Spain); Eddie Opara, partner at Pentagram, from New York (USA); Julia Shiplett, actress, comedian and screenwriter for HBO e Netflix; and Humberto Polar, president of Circulo Criativo do Mexico.
Among the confirmed Brazilian names are KL Jay, DJ and rapper from Racionais MC’s; Alana Leguth, partner and director of KondZilla; the comedian Fbio Porchat; Bruno PlayHard, founder and CEO of Loud; the actor and comedian Paulo Vieira; the actor No Santana;o rapper and composer Don L; Joo Paulo Pacifico, CEO of Grupo Gaia; director and producer Rosane Svartman, author of The soap opera and the future of Brazilian television; comedian and illusionist Gabriel Louchard; Junior Hekurari Yanomami, leader and president of Urihi Yanomami Association, and president of the Yanomami Indigenous Health District Council; Marlene Bergamo, photojournalist at Folha de S.Paulo; Ricardo Chantilly, founding partner of AfroGames; Leonardo Sakamoto, journalist, political scientist, professor at PUC-SP, director of the NGO Reprter Brasil and columnist for UOL; Cherna, INTZ eSports player and influencer; Augusto Parra, tech recruiter and Amazon and founder of Women Up Games; Nixon Silva, creative director at A9 Audio; Carol Rosa, CCO at Jones; Nayara Jinknss, humanist photographer, social educator and LGBTQI+ activist from Coletivo Mamana; Maria Dafne Soares, leader of the GenZ squad Google Brazil; Layla Vallias, co-founder of Hype50+ and coordinator of Tsunami60+; Fabiana Tchalian, co-founder of water in the box; Julio Beltro, artistic head of Fig; and Ana Jlia Kiss, founder and CEO of Humora.
During the festival, the works that will be in the 48 Yearbook will be announced, in two award ceremonies: one for the Technical categories and another for the Creative categories. The Hall of Fame and Advertiser of the Year inductees will also be revealed.
In this edition, a partnership was made with the NGO Anjos da Cidade, which aims to reinsert people living on the streets. On the platform Sympla, a batch of solidarity ticket sales was made available, which will be valid upon delivery of 1kg of non-perishable food on the days of the event. The entity will take its own bus to the Memorial da América Latina to store the donated food.
