Halley Sound hits the market with the aim of creating music and sounds from scratch
Composer and music producer David Bessler announces his new sound production company: Halley Sound. The producer comes to the market with the aim of creating songs and sororities from scratch, so that each project has its own identity.
“Our focus is sound exploration, the market standard is to be based on songs that already exist, called ‘references’, and the good producers are the ones that produce something with a quality close to the references. Our proposal is to create songs and sounds from scratch “, said Bassler.
The production company already has work in its portfolio, such as the Brahma carnival campaign, with the Africa agency, as well as projects in the USA, Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Clients include Gray London, Publicis Dubai, Klick NY and Wieden+Kennedy SP.
David, who spent the last few years associated with Antonio Pinto, at Supersonica, has also composed scores for features such as Nine Days (by Edson Oda, with executive production by Spike Jonze), and for series such as The Me You Can’t See (Apple TV+), The Mechanism (Netflix) and Dom (Amazon). In addition to songs for artists such as Nando Reis, Nego Bala, Marcelo Adnet, Arlindo Cruz and Di Ferrero. In advertising, he signs tracks for brands such as Nike, Apple and BMW.
The name Halley comes from a proposal to put more love into work. According to David, Halley is the name of his most beloved being, his dog, which also appears in the logo, created by Monkey-Land.
The production team works across different cities, including two technicians in São Paulo and executive producer Thereza Helena (who is also a member of the Gentle Cowboys creative collective, in New York).
