A diva Beyonc joins a list of creative visionaries who support the Create 100 and Disneya global celebration of creativity that marks the company’s 100 years of history with several activations, including an auction of exclusive experiences and items, inspired by the personal connection with Disney stories and characters, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars e 20th Century Studios. The auction will take place in 18 countries, from October 12th to 30th, 2023, and the funds raised from sales will go to Make-A-Wish. Fans from all over the world will have the opportunity to bid!
Renowned creators, brands and new talents are joining the movement, including adidasChristian Louboutin, Maison Valentino, NIGO, PandoraSabyasachi Mukherjee, Tommy Hilfiger, Vik Muniz and Virgil Abloh Securities/ALASKA ALASKA. Additionally, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige; Jennifer Lee, Walt Disney Animation Studios; Jon Landau of Lightstorm Entertainment; and Pete Docter of Pixar Animation Studios also donated special items celebrating their respective studios, films and stories.
Now, the outfit Beyonc wears in the film Black is Kingwhich reinforced the memory of the Disney classic, The Leo Kingfor a new generation, is among the items that will be auctioned.
In addition to the plastic artist Vik Muniz, one of the representatives of Brazil, the Create 100 feature notable talents from Latin America: Brazilian artists Nina Pandolfo, Revolue and Thiago Toes; Colombian singers Sebastin Yatra and Carlos Vives; Mexican gymnasts Alexa Moreno and Mario Rojas; the Mexican artist Roberta Lobeira; Peruvian designer Jessica Butrich and Venezuelan singer Gusi.
To celebrate the initiative, Disney is donating $1 million globally to Make-A-Wish to support the granting of life-changing wishes for children with serious illnesses. Disney has the honor of being Make-A-Wish’s main wish granter, and for more than 40 years, it has made dreams come true for more than 150,000 children with serious illnesses around the world. Activities include shopping sessions, stadium visits, theme park holidays and resorts, cruises, celebrity encounters, sporting experiences and much more. Many of Disney’s cast members/employees are also wish-granting volunteers, parents of benefited children or have been granted assistance previously.
