Deborah Vasques Soares will now join the team led by the agency’s CCO, Marco Giannelli, Pernil
AlmapBBDO presented its new creative director, Deborah Vasques Soares. The executive will join the team led by the agency’s CCO, Marco Giannelli, known as Pernil.
Born in Minas Gerais and with extensive experience in international projects, Deborah began her career in Belo Horizonte and has worked in agencies such as AKQA, TBWA, MAL, DM9, Africa, WMcCann, FCB and DPZ.
“Almap is an agency recognized for decades for its talents, iconic work and construction of great brands. I am very happy with Pernil’s invitation to join this story, work side by side with so many talented people and carry out innovative projects, whatever format, with an impact on customers’ culture and business”, said Deborah.
Having been in the market for over 13 years and with important achievements at the Cannes Festival, the creative has worked for major brands, including Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola and Uber. In recent years, at AKQA, he has led projects inside and outside Brazil, such as the launch of Elton John’s latest album, ‘The Lockdown Sessions’, the Nike 50th anniversary celebration campaign and the Brazilian project ‘Transparency Card’, winner of several awards at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
