The capital of São Paulo will host another edition of the World Festival of Creativitywhich will be held between the 19th, 20th and 21st of April 2024. With more than 500 attractions, including lectures, workshopspanels, experiences and performances for professionals, entrepreneurs and companies from all sectors that make up the Brazilian creative economy, the event is estimated to reach 24 thousand people.
Among the new features of the next edition is the decentralization of free activities that will take place in the neighborhoods of the city’s 32 regional councils. The event will also have the support of the Climate Change Secretariat of the City of São Paulo and is under new management, by Julius Wiedemann, CEO of the World Festival of Creativity.
The festival is the definitive contribution of our creative ecosystem to include Brazil in the global innovation circuit based on the convergence between creativity, impact and sustainability, says Wiedemann.
The full program for the 2024 World Festival of Creativity has not yet been released. But, we already know thaton Sunday (21), World Creativity Day and closing date of the event, the New Earth Summitwith a special tribute to the 20 years of the creative economy as a global UN policy, promoted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and established in São Paulo, in 2004. The event also kicks off the activities of World Food Day Creativity, which occurs in another 100 Brazilian cities and in 12 countries.
The festival is a partnership between the City of São Paulo, through the Executive Secretariat for Climate Change, the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism and SPTuris.
The launch of the 2024 edition of the biggest collaborative world creativity festival took place last Thursday (21) at the Museum of Contemporary Art at the University of São Paulo (MAC-USP). Present on the occasion were public leaders, representatives of companies such as Ita, Heineken, Nature, Free market (sponsor of the 2023 edition of the Festival), Google e Petrobrasbetween others.
