The 3rd Cinema Week has just arrived throughout Brazil this Thursday (28th), with tickets for R$12 and discounts for popcorn and drink combos! The promotion, which runs until October 4th, only applies to films with 2D sessions. However, some chains may offer discount coupons for IMAX and 3D sessions.
The initiative, created in partnership between the National Federation of Cinematographic Exhibition Companies (FENEEC) and the Brazilian Association of Cinematographic Exhibition Companies Operators of Multiplex (ABRAPLEX), takes place in some of the main cinema chains in Brazil, such as CinemarkCinpolis, UCI, GNC, Moviecom, Artplex, Petra Fine ArtsCinesystem, Cineart, Ita Cinemas and Playarte.
The campaign celebrates the presence of the public and democratizes access to cinematographic experiences in the country, says Lcio Otoni, president of FENEEC.
It is not the first time the action has been carried out this year. In the edition that took place in February, the Comscore (a company that evaluates media performance) revealed that there was a 180% growth in audience compared to the previous edition, bringing more than 3.7 million people to cinemas.
