The campaign, created by AlmapBBDO, has two phases and aims to honor Brazilian personalities
Johnnie Walker announced the launch of a campaign that aims to shine a light on and celebrate personalities who took steps that impacted their surroundings and culture.
To start communication, the brand chose to tell and pay homage to the story of Alade Costa. With the creation of AlmapBBDO, the project has two phases and, for the first, a 70-year ‘Errata’ was produced and published on a double page in the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, last Sunday (1), recounting the artist’s career .
The second phase will feature the performance of Alade at Carnegie Hall, in New York (USA), on October 8th.
“With seven decades of uninterrupted dedication to music, Alade is one of the best examples we could present. It continues to inspire generations when it comes to moving forward and taking bold steps”, explained Eric Strauss, director of Scotch at Diageo in Brazil.
