The World Creativity Organization (WCO), holding focused on education, events, actions and movements related to the creative economy, it has just announced two new leaders to reinforce its main initiatives and movements. Julius Wiedemann becomes partner and Co-CEO of World Festival of Creativitywhile Luiz Serafim takes over as partner and executive director of World Creativity Day.
The duo joins the founder and general director of the private organization, Lucas Foster, to strengthen the main initiatives and movements of both brands and further increase the connection and synergy with the creative community, the innovation ecosystem, the private sector and public bodies.
Julius Wiedemann will be responsible for taking care of the festival’s attractions, content and activities, in addition to structuring the concept of each edition and being the event’s spokesperson for the media. He now owns WCF, a content and media company responsible for planning, curating and producing the World Festival of Creativity.
With a degree in Graphic Design and Marketing, Julius has built a solid career in the culture and knowledge market, working in countries such as Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States. He is chief talent curator at Domestika and senior editor for design and architecture at German publisher Taschen, with more than 100 books published and more than four million copies sold.

Luiz Serafim will take care of managing the business and expanding participation in World Creativity Day in companies and educational institutions throughout Brazil, in addition to continuing to improve the social impact model that has been taking place since 2018 in cities across the country. He owns WCD, an education company responsible for licensing World Creativity Day and training and certification programs for creative leaders.
Specialist in innovation culture and with a degree in Administration and Advertising, Luiz worked for 30 years at 3M, acting as Marketing, Innovation leader and Brand & Communication director. He is also a professor at MBA courses at FIA-USP, Inova Business School, ESALQ/USP and O Novo Mercado, as well as author of the book The Power of Innovation and columnist for portals such as poca Negocis and Money Times.
The opportunity to undertake such an inspiring project is wonderful, collaborating for the fascinating purpose of promoting the creative potential of people, cities, companies, schools, in the search for innovative solutions and positive transformations around the world, in a network and on a scalescores.
The World Creativity Organization, founded by Lucas Foster, a specialist in creativity and innovation, works globally to promote creativity and innovation to face economic, social, cultural and environmental challenges. To this end, it brings together educators, entrepreneurs, social leaders, content creators and researchers who seek to develop concrete actions to generate a positive and sustainable impact on society.
Festival in SP!
The next edition of World Festival of Creativity to be in the capital of São Paulobetween the 19th, 20th and 21st of April 2024. With more than 500 attractions, including lectures, workshopspanels, experiences and performances for professionals, entrepreneurs and companies from all sectors that make up the Brazilian creative economy, the event expects to reach 24 thousand people.
The full festival program has not yet been released. But, we already know that on Sunday (21), World Creativity Day and the closing date of the event, the New Earth Summitwith a special tribute to the 20 years of the creative economy as a global UN policy, promoted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and established in São Paulo, in 2004. The event also kicks off the activities of World Food Day Creativity, which occurs in another 100 Brazilian cities and in 12 countries.
