The event will take place between the 3rd and 5th of May and has two sponsors, Citibanamex and the beer brand ‘Dos Esquis’
The Omelete Company announced the first edition of CCXP in Mexico. The event is scheduled to take place between May 3 and 5, 2024, at the Centro Citibanamex, located at Hipdromo de Las Américas, in Mexico City.
The Mexican edition of the festival is the result of a partnership with OCESA, a Mexican company specialized in promoting shows, shows and musical concerts, belonging to the operational group of ‘Ticketmaster Mexico’ and ‘Live Nation’.
With a space of 35 thousand and an expectation of receiving more than 90 thousand people, CCXP MX will have classic areas already known by the Brazilian public such as the Thunder Stage (Thunder Stage), Cosplay Universe (Universo Cosplay), Artists’ Valley, Creators Stage (Palco Creators), Game Arena and Omelete Stage (Palco Omelete).
The event will also feature the traditional Spoiler Night, which will be held on May 2nd with an exclusive opening for the press, guests and partners to see all the details first-hand.
In a press conference held on the night of October 10th at the Hipdromo de Las Américas, the organization officially announced two sponsors: Citibanamex, which acquired the ‘present’ share, and the beer brand ‘Dos Equis’, from the Heineken group, which will be the sponsor from Omelette Stage.
“Starting a new venture in another country is not something simple. We are flattered and excited by the trust given by two brands of such relevance and prestige for our first edition on Mexican soil. This is a reflection of the serious and high quality work carried out in Brazil in recent years. 10 years of CCXP together with the brilliant and high-level team at OCEASA”, stated Fbio Reis, Chief Partnership Officer (CPO) of Omelete Company.
