Sony Music Brasil expanded opportunities for artists with the opening of a Premium Content division, an area dedicated to offering a creative content studio that highlights the company’s catalog, scope and options.
Designed to provide opportunities for Sony Music Brasil artists and creators to captivate new global audiences through immersive storytelling, the team aims to develop, finance and distribute a variety of high-quality film and TV projects.
Sony Music Global’s Premium Content division is headquartered in Los Angeles, with teams in Miami, Spain and Brazil. The Rio de Janeiro-based team, led by Juliana Pacheco da Costa, will focus its efforts on creating opportunities for local artists in the film and TV space, in partnership with Brazilian and global distributors.
“The Premium Content division is another service we offer to boost Sony Music artists. With an area dedicated to the production of audiovisual content, we begin a new phase in the company and will bring opportunities in new formats, such as cinema and TV, working in partnership with the biggest producers and platforms in creating differentiated content”, explained Wilson Lannes, Vice-President of Sony Music Brasil.
