To the development of Ogilvy Brasil
To raise awareness about the importance of breast exams to combat cancer early, Lu do Magalu wore the T-shirt from the Breast Cancer in Fashion Target campaign, by IBCC Oncology.
For the development of the creation, whose signature is Ogilvy, a post by Lu was structured with the campaign t-shirt, a case initiated by the North American designer Ralph Lauren and officially launched in 1994 in New York Fashion Weekbut arriving in Brazil in 1996.
In its first edition in Brazil, Breast Cancer in the Fashion Target reached 418 thousand t-shirts, entering the record book (Guiness Book Edition of 1995), there were several actions around this concept over the years, and currently the campaign completed 28 in the country.
“Magalu is historically linked to causes in favor of women, and health is an important topic. The female audience represents the majority of Lu’s community of followers. Bringing this type of information to them is very relevant”, says Aline Izo, manager of Magalu’s social networks.
