The event will take place on October 31st and will feature the launch of the “Global Media Charter 2023”
The Brazilian Association of Advertisers (ABA) will hold another edition of the ABA Summit on October 31st. The entity’s traditional event will take place in a hybrid format, with live and in-person broadcast at Teatro Unibes Cultural, in So Paulo.
Co-curated by Amelie Consulting partner Olga Martinez, the main theme of the ABA Summit will be “What’s keeping marketing leaders up at night?” and have three panels that will debate sustainable marketing, inclusion and innovation in the job market and the impact of AI on marketing.
“In recent years, we have changed the way we consume and the way advertisers do marketing. Discuss the main trends that move the advertising industry, such as AI, and how they impact the daily lives of professionals in the field, in addition to the agendas that cannot will be more dissociated from the marketing of the future, such as sustainability and diversity & inclusion will be some of the topics that the ABA Summit will debate with renowned market professionals. It will be a rich exchange of experiences, conversations and insights”, stated Olga Martinez.
The first panel will have as its central theme “Psychological safety is the engine of innovation, how to create a genuinely inclusive and innovative work environment”, while the second will discuss the topic “Understanding the impact of AI and other technological innovations on marketing: How does it change the relationship with our purpose, what is the real role of the marketer with these new dynamics and what are the key skills?” and the last one will talk about “What is the sustainable marketing mentality, the values, how do you think about the business and the consumer? How to build brands and businesses that genuinely and integrally bring a positive impact proposal?”.
In addition, the event will feature two presentations by Olga Martinez, one at the opening of the event with the presentation of the research “Sentiments of leaders in Brazil” and another with her Takeaways.

This year, we will talk about how Artificial Intelligence is affecting the market, in addition to discussing relevant and challenging issues, such as sustainable marketing and innovation and inclusion. During the ABA Summit, the launch of the “Global Media Charter 2023” will also take place, presented by Paula Marsilli, Vice-President of ABA, President of the Media Committee and Media Director of Natura &Co Latam.
The document is a translation of its original version, prepared by the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), a global entity that represents advertisers and of which the ABA is an affiliate and member of its Executive Committee, which deals with an update of the first study, launched by the ABA in Brazil in 2018, and represents an appeal from advertisers to prioritize 5 areas during the process of commercial partnerships in the global digital media ecosystem, namely “Competition and Plurality”, “Responsibility and Society”, “Measurement”, “Sustainability ” and “Planet, and People and Partners”.
