I adore him Halloween, and I’m happy that this American tradition has arrived in Brazil. There are several films that take place during Halloween (including the most famous film). Here are six tips for you to watch streaming and fully enjoy this Halloween!
Halloween A Noite do Terror | Prime Video, Looke, Paramount+, MUBI e Net Movies
First film in the hugely successful horror franchise. This first film, produced in 1978, introduces us to Michael Myers (Tony Moran). He is a psychopath who has lived in an institution for 15 years, since he killed his own sister. However, Michael manages to escape his captivity and returns to his hometown to continue his crimes in the place that, terrified, still remembers him. The film transformed Jamie Lee Curtis in star.
Halloween Ends | Globoplay
In 2022, they released the film that ends the franchise (at least, for now). Four years have passed since the event of Halloween Kills. Laurie now lives with her granddaughter Alysson, and is finishing her memoir. Michael Myers was never seen again. It seems that Laurie has finally decided to free herself from her fear and anger and return to life. But everything changes when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell, Lonergan from Virgin River), accused of killing a boy he cared for. And a wave of terror and violence once again hovers over the city. But this time, Laurie will have to deal with Myers and put an end to him once and for all.
O Halloween do Hubie | Netflix
Comedy starring Adam Sandler. He’s Hubie Dubois, innocent, clumsy, but with a good heart. Hubie likes to call himself the ranger of Salem, the famous Witch City. But everyone mistreats him and scares him, without him losing his goodwill. But on Halloween, some events undermine the celebrations of the date. A crazy inmate escaped from prison, a weird weird guy just moved in next door. And to top it off, some local inhabitants begin to disappear. So Hubie has to convince the police that monsters exist, in addition to, of course, saving everyone. Have some fun!
Werewolf in the Night | Disney+
Werewolf in the Night based on comics Marvel. Everything takes place on a dark and gloomy night. A secret cabal of monster hunters emerges from the shadows and gathers at the Bloodstone Temple. The reason is the death of their leader. Everyone is there to participate in a strange and macabre memorial to the leader’s life. Participants are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic. A hunt that will bring them face to face with a dangerous creature. Very interesting!
Abracadabra | Disney+
Winnie (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mary (Kathy Najimy) are three witches from the 17th century, who arrive in the 20th century after their spirits are evoked on Halloween. Banned 300 years ago due to the practice of sorcery, they are willing to do anything to guarantee their youth and immortality. However, they will need to face three children and a talking cat, who could disrupt their plans. Not long ago a sequel came out, which is a tribute to the first film, adding diversity and with less violence. It is also in Disney+.
The Nightmare Before Christmas | Disney+
Tim Burton’s animated classic. Jack Skellington (Chris Sarandon) is a fantastic being who lives in Halloween Town, a place surrounded by fantastic creatures. L, everyone spends the year organizing the following year’s Halloween. But, after another Halloween, Jack is tired of doing that every year. So he leaves the confines of Halloween Town and wanders into the forest. Soon, Jack ends up going through the Christmas portal, where he sees demonstrations of the Christmas spirit. Upon returning to Halloween Town, he begins to convince the citizens to kidnap Santa Claus (Edward Ivory) and make their own Christmas.
