Surfer Gabriel Medina is the new partner of Undo for Tomorrow, a sustainable tennis company. The athlete’s mission is to test, give feedback and help improve all of the brand’s shoes.
The athlete will also join the company’s board, having the right to vote on strategic decisions and be involved with the creative team for future launches.
The partnership began with the launch of The Surfer model, a retro sneaker with inspirations from the 80s and 90s that alludes to the three-time world champion. Another sneaker is in production and is expected to be launched in the second half of 2024.
Currently, the brand can only be found online in Brazil and Europe, without any resellers or external commercial partners and all revenue coming from online sales.
Undo for Tomorrow’s expectation with the addition of Gabriel Medina will increase revenue between 3 and 5 times current revenue in the next two years. To achieve this goal, the brand intends to open sales of its sneakers to the B2B (wholesale) market and enter a new market, online and B2B, in the USA.
“Our first launch will be soon and we can already see how Gabriel’s participation and feedback will be relevant for us to take even greater steps focused on a good product. I would like to give special thanks to The Growth, our first and only investor, has been opening several doors for us and helping to structure us for higher flights”, said Patrick Dohmann, founding partner and CEO of Undo.
