Starting in September 2024, Rock in Rio presented the campaign that marks the festival’s 40th anniversary. The action, which bears the signature “Rock in Rio 40 years and forever”, tells the love story of a couple who met at the launch of Rock in Rio, in 1985.
The film is a creation of rockers, the Dreamers Group’s hub dedicated to attending the Rock in Rio, The Town and Lollapalooza festivals.
The campaign will extend to OOH media in much of Brazil, where photos representing meetings over the years in Cidade do Rock, in Rio de Janeiro, will be displayed.
“To celebrate our 40 years, we decided to delve into these stories and encounters that the festival provides and that remain forever in people’s memories. Under the motto ’40 years of great encounters and unforgettable stories’ we will portray some of these encounters and stories, at the same time that we invite people to collaborate with us, expanding the platform through their personal stories”, reveals Ana Deccache, marketing director at Rock World.
The Rock in Rio community will also be invited to share their own stories on the “Grandes Encontros” platform. In it, the public will be able to share their experiences so that they can be immortalized in a bank of emotions for future use in content on social networks and other activations.
