Ranking analyzed the level of digital accessibility of the 30 largest companies operating in Brazilian e-commerce in 2023
The Digital Accessibility Ranking revealed that Airbnb, Latam and Enjoei occupy the podium as the most accessible platforms in the country. Apple and Amazon Brasil complete the top 5. The survey, developed by Yaman, used as a basis the accessibility guidelines adopted by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
On a scale of zero to 10, Airbnb had the highest score, with 9.82, followed by Latam, with 9.65, and Enjoei, with 9.51. First place in this edition of the ranking, Airbnb was not among the best last year, as were Latam and Enjoei. Apple, the champion company in 2022, occupies fourth place, with a rating of 9.47, followed by Amazon Brazil, with 9.35.
The annual ranking is an indicator for companies and consumers preparing for Black Friday, considered the fifth biggest date in Brazilian retail, according to the National Confederation of Commerce in Goods, Services and Tourism, and for Christmas.
The survey sought to analyze and test the complete purchase flow, from the initial screen to the completion of the order. The platforms that interrupted this journey had a 50% reduction in the score obtained. In some cases, a score of zero was given because it does not have accessibility principles and methods in accordance with standards.
