D&AD reveals updates for the award
This Wednesday (1), D&AD revealed the main updates for the D&AD Awards 2024.
This year, the award focuses more on physical and mental health. After introducing eight health and wellness subcategories in 2022, D&AD introduces new categories for 2024: pharmaceutical, luxury and sustained impact.
To category of Lux seeks to recognize and celebrate the best in creativity and innovation in the sector. J the category sustained impactcelebrates long-term impact and begins to recognize work that generates greater behavioral, environmental, social or political changes over time.
In the next edition, Artificial Intelligence (AI) promises to redefine creative excellence. All event participants will be asked whether they use AI so that judges know if, or how, it was used.
It is now possible to check the entire list of confirmed jury presidents on the D&AD website.
Additionally, D&AD announces a new home for the D&AD Awards 2024 judging, festival and ceremony. From 21-22 May 2024, the event will bring the industry together at the Southbank Centre, London.
“As the industry landscape changes, so do our awards, but the pursuit of creative excellence and the outstanding standard of work awarded each year will never wane. I’m really excited about our festival’s new home on London’s Southbank, which will provide an even greater platform for our community next year,” said Donal Keenan, director of the D&AD Awards.
