Bigger marketplace of collaborative consumption and second-hand items in Brazil, Enjoei is teaming up with Positiv.a, the largest ecological brand of cleaning and self-care products, in an awareness campaign about the care of clothes, shoes and bags, to promote greater durability of these items. In addition to offering tips on the two brands’ social networks, so that the public can take care of their pieces in a sustainable way, the campaign will also give gifts to the first 300 customers on the platform who make purchases from R$ 180.00 in the Enjoei Pro category with a zero-plastic washing machine from Positiv.a.
The action, which takes place starting next week and is exclusive to Enjoei Pro consumers, aims to promote the conscious use of clothing items and increase consumers’ perception of the products’ life cycle. Enjoei Pro is the section in which the platform takes care of the sorting, photography, pricing, storage and delivery of goods, in addition to providing support to buyers. In this type of website, consumers can find items evaluated by Enjoei himself.
The brands came together because they believe that the circular economy is the path to sustainable consumption and they want to amplify this message.
Sustainability has always been in Enjoei’s DNA. We believe that a piece of clothing, a decorative item or an accessory that no longer makes sense to one person can make sense to another, and thus gain more usage time. Our bet is that the circular economy is a means of sustainable consumption that will establish itself in the market, and we have joined forces with partners who also share this vision, comments Beta Balbi, Brand Manager at Enjoei.
For Marcella Zambardino, co-founder and Impact Director of Positiv.a, it is increasingly important to promote care for clothing items to ensure greater durability and circularity of the pieces, since the fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world.
As an ecological brand, we want to promote a positive impact on all fronts and join forces with other companies that want to engage consumers in conscious consumption. That’s why teaming up with a collaborative consumer brand focused on extending the lifespan of clothing items makes perfect sense for us. Together, we want to propagate the circular economy, he reinforces.
The action made 300 units of Lava Roupas powder available in the Lavanda and Capim Limo versions to give as gifts to consumers. The products are part of the brand’s new powder line, with a natural formula based on coconut oil and compostable packaging, made from plants and biodegradable.
Enjoei is the main circular fashion platform in Brazil, as well as bringing together decoration pieces, books and toys, among other items. O e-commerce has more than 15 million advertisements published, with prices up to 70% lower compared to traditional retail.
Positiv. is a pioneer in the ecological products segment in Brazil, and since its creation in 2017, it has generated more than R$2.3 million in income for small producers, avoided the pollution of 1.5 billion liters of water, stopped using more than 54 tons of virgin plastic and reused more than 1.4 tons of fishing net. Certified by System B since it was founded, the brand has items in its portfolio for laundry, kitchen, surfaces, bath, oral hygiene, deodorant and skin, made with 100% recycled plastic and paper packaging.
