SBT do Bem has just started its national campaign Break to Preveno in support of Blue november, a month dedicated to preventing and combating prostate cancer around the world. The action was presented last Sunday (5) during the program Domingo Legal, presented by Celso Portiollito raise awareness in society about the importance of early diagnosis in the success of treatment against the disease.
In the campaign’s main film, which you can see below, the presenter was chosen as spokesperson to highlight an alarming fact about the topic and the importance of carrying out preventive exams.
Prostate cancer is a public health concern, and the most recent data from the National Cancer Institute (Inca) reveals that, every 38 minutes, a man loses his life to the disease in Brazil. The fight against prostate cancer requires immediate action, because every minute counts in favor of life.
This sad and alarming statistic created a challenge on how to approach the issue sensitively and effectively, using SBT resources to raise awareness. The answer was the development of the campaign Break da Preveno, in partnership with the agency WMcCannreinforcing the incentive for men to see a urologist and take care of their health.
The campaign will be publicized in all the media owned by the SBT, including TV and digital platforms, until November 30th, and will also include internal communication actions. In addition, the Silvio Santos Program will show a special episode on the Hidden Cameras section, as part of the campaign support.
