Inside Out 2 will show a teenage Riley dealing with emotions such as Anxiety, Envy, Boredom and Shame.
Inside Out 2 has received the first teaser trailer that shows a few, but interesting, details about the plot of the sequel to the 2015 animation fromPixar.
In the preview, it is shown that Riley is entering a new and frightening phase of her life: adolescence. This stage brings with it new problems and, to cause even more confusion with Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Fear, other emotions.
In the film we will be introduced to new characters, such as Ansiedade, voiced by actress Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), who was highlighted in the teaser, showing his energetic, clumsy and worried personality. At the end of the trailer, some names like Envy, Boredom and Shame pass quickly, showing that Riley is dealing with the issues of puberty.
Despite not appearing in the teaser, Pixar published, on its social networks, a poster for the feature film that briefly reveals the appearance of these new emotions. Check out the official poster below:
Out of curiosity, the new characters that will cross Riley’s mind in Inside Out 2 are not recent ideas, but are concepts that were imagined for the first film, but were discarded in the final pre-production process of the film.
Inside Out 2, directed by newcomer Kelsey Mann, is scheduled to premiere in June 2024, but until then, fans of Pixar animations can enjoy watching the first film, which is available onDisney+and remember the most exciting moments of the award-winning film Oscar 2016 in the Best Animated Film category.
