In an interview with propmark, the professional talks about what it would be like to take on the new chair and also as CCO
After Sergio Mugnaini left the CCO chair at Ogilvy Brasil, Streetwise has just announced the arrival of the creative as a new partner at the agency, alongside Daniel Simes, Paul Heath and Rodrigo Famelli.
In an interview with propmarkMugnaini – who has worked for the world’s main agencies, such as Ogilvy, JWT, DM9DDB, AlmapBBDO, among others – declares that Streetwise arrives to creatively accelerate opportunities for the Out-Of-Home (OOH) medium and for brands, in addition to accelerate the agency’s creative culture.
“The OOH market where the coolest things happen is an incredible space to exercise creativity. I have a big challenge, but I see many opportunities to exercise everything I do on the creative side”, says the creative.
Daniel Simes, partner and CEO of Streetwise, says that this is a very important step for the agency. “This was a chair in society that was missing. We consider Sergio to be one of the main creative leaders in the country, so for us it was a dream to have a partner leading the area with weight and relevance.”
Mugnaini explains that two factors encouraged his arrival at Streetwise: the strengthening of the senior team at the agency and a solid team with diverse opportunities.
“We have completed a high-level, first-class team to transform and deliver OOH in a very different way. This is a very important moment, we believe that we are going to do innovative and unique work for OOH”, concludes Simes.
Mugnaini is the second major professional in the Brazilian market to join the Streetwise team in recent weeks. At the beginning of September, the agency announced Daniel Jotta (ex-Aldeiah, BETC Havas and DPZ&T) as its vice president of new business and growth.
