Intertwined with a campaign that invites women and men to understand their role in combating violence against women. When people understand the importance of the support network and of being support for those who suffer violence, it becomes easier to promote a journey of transformation in the lives of those in need. After all, when women become aware of violence and come together, they create regenerative bonds among themselves, in addition to strengthening themselves as individuals and vectors of social change, explains Daniela Grelin, executive director of the Avon Institute.
The campaign will feature digital and in-person activations in partnership with the Razes para Believer platform, involving publicity both on social media and at an exhibition on Av. Paulista, with the support of Virada Sustentvel and the Secretariat of Human Rights and Citizenship of the city of São Paulo.
In a country where a woman is murdered every six hours, according to the latest report by the Brazilian Public Security Forum, it is essential that we encourage awareness and mobilization of all sectors of society for this cause, as well as facilitating access to information and services specialized programs so that all Brazilian women know and access their rights and can transform their reality, adds Daniela Grelin.
Furthermore, the campaign also has a partnership with Eletromidia, which will deliver communications about the importance of the support network in combating violence against women in business and residential elevators in the city of So Paulo.
