Betting on Black Friday as an opportunity for an important conversation about conscious and purposeful consumption, Nature throughout the month of November, it promotes Natura Friday. In addition to offers and discounts, the brand invites customers to take action with the aim of generating a positive impact, reverting part of the proceeds from their purchases to training community leaders throughout Brazil. In 2022, the brand transferred R$1.2 million to make a difference and positively impact the five regions of the country.
The action, which has been taking place since 2020, returns R$1.00 from each purchase over R$99.00 made on the e-commerce, app or stores, to generate positive impact through social mobilization and the development of new leadership within the network of beauty consultants. However, since 2022, the action has taken on new proportions by giving the customer a super important role: selecting the action front that will receive the amount raised from their purchase.
In 2022, around 49% of people who chose the front of action for the transfer of their purchases chose Women’s Rights, 36% for Living Amazon and Sustainability and 15% for Diversity and Inclusion. This year, the fronts to be chosen are:
- Women’s Health and Rights
The consumer supports the educational journey in social mobilization of beauty consultants, with initiatives or projects that seek to protect, develop or empower women in their communities; - Amazon and Sustainability
Consumers support initiatives and projects that seek to keep the forest healthy or take care of the environment in their communities; - Education
Consumers support projects that seek to promote access to education and development for children, young people and adults in their communities.
Generating positive impact is one of Natura’s main beliefs and is present in all our decisions. This year, with the campaign What if your purchase made a difference for you and the world?, we propose a reflection on the power of each person’s choices. By bringing the customer to the center of this action together with us, we give each purchase a greater purpose, reinforcing the importance of individual decisions for transforming society and the world. Thus, our customers take advantage of offers on innovative, high-performance products, while promoting real and positive changes for the world, highlights Agenor Leo, Vice President of Business at Natura and Avon in Brazil.
Natura Friday also takes place through beauty consultants, together with Revista Espaão Natura. During the period, all orders with at least one promotion identified as Natura Friday will also have R$1.00 donated to make a difference in the world.
