Brazil ended its participation in the 26th edition of the International Festival The Eye of Iberoamerica with a total of 107 awards. During the three days of the event, Brazilian advertising won 4 Gran Ojos (Gran Prix), 19 Gold, 31 Silver and 53 Bronze trophies.
A Africa Creative was recognized as Agency of the Year, while Sergio Gordilho received the title of Best Creative of the Year. AB InBev was awarded Best Advertiser. In the Independent Agency of the Year category, the winner was the Spanish company El Ruso del Rocky. DDB was recognized as the Best Network, and the Mexican production company Oriental Films, together with its stage director, Yupi Segura, were honored as Best Producer and Best Director, respectively.
In the + Creative Women award, the only Brazilian representative awarded was Olvia Lang, receiving Bronze for case Leayes Ogilvy for Intimus/Kimberly-Clark, with audiovisual production signed by Moonheist and sound production by Lucha Libre.
On just the third day of the festival, Brazil won 29 awards, including 1 Gran Ojo, 7 Golds, 3 Silvers and 18 Bronzes. The awards were distributed in several categories: Best Latin Idea for the World, Film, Design, Brand Experience & Activation, Digital & Social, Creative Commerce, Creative Data, Innovation and Third Ojo.
El Ojo de Iberoamérica is the first international festival with Latin criteria and a perspective of creativity, communication and entertainment. Over its 26 years, the event has promoted Latin talent and projects, encouraging the growth of the communications industry in the region and consolidating itself as a global reference in creativity.
