A FIFA announced the renewal of its sponsorship contract with Qatar Airways. The agreement, which began at the Qatar World Cup in 2022, will be valid until 2030 and involve some editions: FIFA World Cup 2026 and 2030, a FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, in addition to presence at the U17 World Cup that is being played in Indonesia.
Since May 2017, Qatar Airways has been an integral part of the entity’s global initiatives, and with this renewed partnership, it will continue to play an important role in the development of football. Recently, the airline closed a sponsorship agreement with Inter Milan.

The news came after the great success of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which despite being far away, attracted people from around the world with its stadiums and hospitality, in addition to the adrenaline on the field. As FIFA’s global airline partner, Qatar Airways will be able to engage with fans both at tournaments and on digital platforms.

The airline also revealed that fans will soon have easier access to exclusive travel packages, including tickets for games, flights and accommodation for FIFA tournament selection, through the company’s platform.
