One of the institution’s objectives is to create a movement on the topic
Moringa signed the new Sebrae campaign, which supports Afro-entrepreneurship. The current phase of work aims to encourage people, black or white, to buy from black-owned businesses and promote economic development.
At the same time, it aims to continue informing and educating about the social inequality that is still present in this topic. An example of this scenario is the fact that 82% of black Brazilian entrepreneurs, who represent the majority in this sector of the country, say they suffer prejudice in their business.
With the creation of a squad of black collaborators, the strategy includes a film made by Producer Malala and directed by Viviane Santos, a black woman who gives even more strength and meaning to the speech.
The central concept of the current initiatives follows the motto of the macro campaign on Afro-entrepreneurship recently launched by Sebrae: “If the Business is Black, it is making a difference.
The campaign includes the manifesto film and, as support, there are static and animated pieces and digital videos. The communication strategy also includes the participation of Tia M (Mara Azevedo) – journalist, Black Movement activist and influencer – to promote Sebrae’s message on social media.
